My PortfolioCreative Concrete Painting - These stones were painted with concrete stain made for pool areas. This process can also be used for concrete stairs, porches and patios
Office Paneling Update - The office paneling is now painted low-luster and high-gloss stripes. This gives the hallway a cleaner look.
Bathroom Update - This bathroom is tall and narrow with outdated wallpaper. After: the wallpaper was removed and horizonital 10 inch stripes were painted. I striped with low-luster paint, the other stripe with the same color but metallic glaze. Now the room looks bigger and updated. The vanity was also painted and helped keep the cost down and looks beautiful.
Kitchen Update With Paint - This kitchen is small with outdated wallpaper. After: the wallpaper was removed, cabinets were painted with high-gloss white. Centers now fresco and glazed. The ceiling and valance are painted the same color making the room appear larger.
Living Room Update With Paint - The original walls and ceiling were in great shape. I just added a little color. The ceiling was done with a gingersnap glaze. This brought out the design in the textured ceiling. It made the room bigger and taller. The walls were done with plastic bags which created depth. This room is now warm and inviting.
Creative Way To Hide Your Pipes - Why box your pipes in when you can get creative with them. This snake adds conversation to the room.
Newport Showhouse 2008 - This room was painted from floor to ceiling. The floor design was done with oil paint. Walls Fresco and Glazed. Ceiling metallic paints all to create this beautiful room, which was designed by Jan Girouard.
Faux Finish Stone - Why go through the expense of having real stones. For a fraction of the price you can have painted stones on your cement stairs and/or foundation and sidewalks. This process handles all weather and elements.
Miscellaneous Murals - A couple of murals. A kitchen without a window now has a great view of the outside. A mural of Winnie the Pooh made this child happy -- Mom too!
Painted Tile - Here is an example of outdated, ugly tile. Rather than replace it, Susan has painted it. What a difference!
Private Residence II, Newport RI - Both these walls had wallpaper that was painted over several times. Seams were showing and the corners had the paper coming off. To solve this problem some of the wallpaper was removed and the walls were frescoed with joint compound to hide all the seams and to create a beautiful texture. This is a four layer process.
Spring Seasons Inn, Newport RI - This wall was damaged when appliances were moved in. The problem was solved when the wall paper was removed and a courtyard mural was painted.
Baby’s Room at Bonney Crest, Newport, RI - Pillars were a problem and now they are padded and wrapped with fabric and painted palm leaves. Now the room has a tropical jungle feel with monkeys hanging from the ‘trees’.
The Columns, Kings Grant, Portsmouth, RI - These columns are plastic and were white. Now I have painted them with five layers to look like real marble. They warm up the room and now are a conversation piece.
Private Residence 1 - The angles of the walls in this home made it difficult to hang artwork. Painting a garden, lattice and vines gave this room a light and airy feeling.
One Eighty Club - From outside to inside, the One Eighty Restaurant chose a fresco look to create a warm atmosphere.
